Question: Want to know the real reason they released the new 150 this year? It has nothing to do with the pit bike industry as a few think. The 150 will be legal next year for the 85 class. The rule WILL be changed to 150cc four strokes vs 85cc two strokes. Why would they release it this year and make sure the rules are changed for next year? I mean all the other manufactures are still in development and testing stages so why didn't they just continue to test for another year and make sure its perfect.

Answer: Honda made it very clear at the dealer meeting that next model year they will not be producing any two strokes. Yes, I said any. Sorry guys, the two stroke days are not just coming to an end soon, in Honda's eyes, they are finished. If you want a two stroke, you better buy it now.
