Re: CHP '08 Texas Mini Nationals

Here is the set up right now.

Finish line can be cleared with a 12" (good rider), next step down can be cleared by 12" (partial for 10" 8, next step down can be cleared by 10 and 12", step up can be cleared by 12" (double up for 10"), haven't seen the next double hit by a 12", step down has been cleared by 12", double double has been cleared by 12", double if you go to the outside of the turn by 12", single to table 12" can clear (10" can land flat on the table), the next straight not a lot too hit for either, the single, then a step down that can be hit with both and back to the finish line.

I'll get with Racerx336 and Mini_Thump and time them on my 88 (I'm too slow to compare a time too.. ) and their modded 110 and get some lap times.

Dont give spanky all the credit......We've seen you doing the same thing, only with the bunny ears on.

It will be on the day track. The night track is part of the day track and the night track portion is what will be raced in the CHP Nationals. There's no issues on the pit bike come on out. Make sure to check the weather first, I saw you signed up on their board so just watch that. The weather is different out there compared to Arlington. Sometimes it rains here and not there or vise versa.

NO Motocross is not meant to be easy, however, there are ways to build National caliber tracks that are challanging for the Pro's and still very raceable for those whom might be considering their first big Pit bike race. I have ridden a few of the ACTUAL outdoor National tracks on my Pitbike and can attest this is true. Challange everyone yes! Build obstacles that cause people to get carted off NO!! I will race it no matter what you build, but I want everyone to come out and have a great time, not worry about the track. I am happy that Lyle decided to do it again this year, he was not going to after the nightmare of last year. Thanks Lyle, this is my favorite event!!!!

Pitbike racing is not motocross. I do know this much. We race both. My kid goes big but not everyone who races pitbikes can go big.

I raced at NTMX last weekend and the track was good on a pit bike. Talked with Spanky, Squidlie, and a group of riders about what changes should/will be made before the race. I think the track is REALLY SAFE but accidents do happen. I kid in the 250 Beg class did take a life flight out of the track but it was NOT the tracks fault. In racing accidents happen but the staff at NTMX is top notch to handle anything.
A couple bad pics of the track.

Fun on 88's also

Re: CHP '08 Texas Mini Nationals

The part where the life flight was on is the day track section which is a section not in the pitbike race.
