| dude, it was not my night last night. Not riding for a month, and not riding on the track/trails for 2 months was a bad idea. I had 2 big crashes in the same place, thankfully I was wearing my chest protector both times or I'd probably have broken ribs and/or lung damage. The way they split up heats and qualified down to a main was very strange, i ended up with a whole heat full of crazy built honda motors, my gpx didn't have a prayer and I'm very out of shape/practice. My leg has so much atrophy from the torn MCL. My buddy went with me, he's never ridden before in his life, he crashed into the cast iron cattle guard fence and broke the fender/plastics off my bike. People said all he needed was a red clown nose to complete the ensamble 55spy: You should've came down to the pits and said hi or somethin, thejunkman came out from Colorado, his buddy bought my left-over SSR110-a1 that i had on display in the pits. I met NERider too, he works @ curry brothers, he was running the heats and whatnot. I'm really sore, really really sore, but i'm not hurt....so i'll race another day. I'm going to let my knee heal a bit more and start hitting the gym harder so i can get my strength back. I can barely stand up on the pegs when i'm riding. As for the crashing, it was on the same double both times, and i almost crashed a bunch of times too. I'm chalking it up to bad form, and too much preload in my rear shock. Seems like no matter what I did, the ass end of the bike would pitch up and send my front wheel right into the face of the landing. There was a 25' or so double that I hit and made without a problem during the practice sessions, but on that same lap I cased the small double and then I got spooked and didn't mentally "have it" and ended up rolling the big double for the rest of the night. During the outlaw main, i crashed hard again on the 1st lap so I just decided enough was enough, started my bike, and rode back to the pits.

| I didn't realize who was there until I checked this thread today. If I had known I woulda gone down there. Mattv, yeah you gotta do something with the rear end on your bike. The preload did seem to pitch it but you got what looks like too weak a spring, way too much ( and quick) compression in the rear. You couldn't carry any speed off the doubles. That did look really painful. Your buddy crashed into the gate right in fron of where my kids and I were sitting. He got up all "hey no biggie" and limped the bike back around the track. Hopefully I'll be ready to go for Karnage an Kaos at beer mountain. Junk man was that you that broke your bars in the practice? |

| I wish someone had my crashes on video, i'd like to see them. I have a new shock on the way (gets here tomorrow) and i'm going to do some serious tweaking to my RCM shock. It has a lot of adjustments, i just need time and a place to test my tweaks at. Brian (my buddy) was really cool about everything Junkman bent his bars, and my buddy Scott (84) broke his bars and rode someone else's bike.

| Yeah I bent my bars, but was able to fix them, I took a good endo over the same double Matt crashed on. I will chalk it up to my poor jetting and ability to adapt to this track. What was the deal with practice pple were crashing all over? I had a blast none the less and would travel there again. |

| Mattv and Junkman, watched you both on Sat. Practice runs were almost a demo derby for some. Matt-good bike you had for sale. I test road it after the set up. Pretty nice little bike. Thought you and the junkman did pretty well-even with the bad luck in the wild practice sessions. They didn't quite have the classes separated out very well. But enjoyed watching you both rip around the course. Looked like a challenging ride. |

| the old man that helped sell your bike. I'm too old to do that kind of ridin but enjoy watchin you guys cut it up! My days are past - but did plenty of that when I was younger. Those little bikes look like a kick. Take care of those knees-you'll miss em when they're gone! I know from experience-tore mine up skiing. But motorcycles can do a pretty good number on them too! Have fun like it looked that you were but always have to watch out for the crazy ones out there. |

| Junkman knows what I ride and how and I will spin around on his once in while, I still ride a hare scramble now and then but mostly trials suits me the best now. Slower pace and requires more skill and balance than tear em up riding. So will stick to spectating of the minis. Plan on going to the race in Norfolk in June to watch you guys tear around there. |

| This is Riley Niesz, Bill's son, using his profile. I won the stock 50 (green bike) but the guy that got second was complaining and ended up stealing my first place trophy when no one was looking. I also raced the midsize with the blue and red 110. I crashed pretty bad in practice when the throttle stuck going through the woops and I went over the berm. I ended 4th in that class. It was a lot of fun and the race in Norfolk in June should be fun also. |
