Unhappy Re: YX 150 Thread

since were talking eco friendly ( hippie crap) what are they putting in the gas now days? I know e85 ethanol is supposed to burn cleaner but it seems like my carb gets a crap load of deposits if i let it sit with gas more than a week.

Re: YX 150 Thread

I finally got my engine and it came with a lot of crap.
oil cooler
dress up kit
steel braided oil lines
steel braided clutch cable
steel braided throttle cable
air filter
coil
shifter
kick starter
hose clamps
moklt carb( ad said 28mm but it looks like a 24)
Intake manifold with spacers and gaskets
killswitch
428 drive sprocket
seems like a great deal so far. I dont know what kind of exhaust this is though. My crf50 pipe bolts up but the bends in it are way off, what do i do, go custom?

You have the YX150 with the KLX type intake ports. Your going to have to run a 110 bend exhaust or you can try to fabricate the existing pipe. Also there is the adaptor from NCC i believe you can use too!

Re: YX 150 Thread

Thanks. Im using a stock klx 110 pipe to see how the bends and everything go, then im going to a muffler place and having some 1 1/2 or 1 1/4 bent so i can make a custom pipe. I dont know what muffler i will be using.. maybe my old fmf powercore or my white bros muffler. The exhaust port seems to be a bit small or a 150 though... any tips on how big to go on tubing for my exhaust?
