Re: vegas stock mod motor

the funny thing is that EVERYONE that raced the stock mod class had a tb stroker or two hoes. run one of them it is cheaper and they are not going to pull your motor apart because everyone is running them

You can use stroker cranks. If you can only modify stock parts as you say, how do you modify the stock piston to fit the bigger bore you run?

You have to use the stock cylinder, but you can bore it out, you don't have to use the stock piston.

So, you can use aftermarket pistons and valves but not the aftermarket stroker crank rod. Where does it say in the rules you can run some internal aftermarket parts but not others? Is there a list stating that, for examples pistons are okay but rods are not?

Re: vegas stock mod motor

The only after market parts you can use piston ,clucth spring, valve and springs /cam. From there mod stock parts.

Dont read them very well either.

The rules simply clearly state, that the motor must APPEAR stock on the outside. In other words, using stock external parts, and whatever you can do to the inside is game.

No, rules state Ignition must be stock, you can have the crap ground down out of it though to make it lighter.

Re: vegas stock mod motor

Here is a link to where you can read the rules. No where does it state that you cannot use aftermarket parts inside the motor. And it clearly states the parts that have to be stock.
