But shade, I see you have the Kitaco 28mm D-slide carburetor, am I right
Doesn't hang your carburetor askew, because otherwise it will hit the head?

thanks for the comments guys =], its a kitaco 28 D slide correct but it has a TB intake. but it does not hit my head it fit perfect.

thats the reason it was built with a tb intake. the intake was massaged and port-matched to the carb and +R head. what jetting did you end up with?

i even played with 16/39 gearing on my 172+R for indoor arenacross all 2nd gear track. it's just hard to get holeshots with because i was afraid to loop-it-out (again). and that engine had alot more power than the 172.
