Is that just a stretched stock swing arm?

Re: Lets see everyone's Z!

Picked this up yesterday.

IT is missing cam gear and top cover amoung other things. I found a motor on ebay needs first gear, can the first gear from a 1982 model go into a 99 model? Was a $100 too much for this bike?

As requested by Tmas. Some pictures of my 1979 Z50R. These are out of date. No new pictures until it's finished.

Yes Patman, please let us know if the XR80 required any mod to fit the Z frame... Also, are XR 75 swingers the same as XR 80s'..?

Thx

Thx, it doesn't seem to be a tough mod to adapt it on the Z frame...

Re: Lets see everyone's Z!

If I remember correctly you have to cut 3/16" off of BOTH insides of the swing arm (where it mounts to the frame) and weld on a brake tab.Old XR75 and XR80 swing arms (dual shock set up) are identical I think.Close enough I think any way. Most people I've seen have used an XR75 swing arm,but I used an XR80.Worked out fine. The real expert on this subject as far as I can tell is Alindsay.
