Back to your thread, the fact that you actually ride your bike until stuff starts to wear out is commendable.
Cool stuff........... My GPX is twice as hard to start than my WR450 (when I don't hit the button)..

Any pics on of your red one too?
Yep, I like keeping the frame, swinger and headlight stock looking.. My red bike is basically stripped down and being used for the parts. I have a CT70H frame ready for powder coat and it will be my wifes bike. Hopefully it will be nicer than my blue bike.... That's the goal anyway.. After that I have a CT90 waiting in the wings for a ghetto restmod with an old Zonger 125 that I've had for a few years..............

Dan, any updates to any of your CTs? I love seeing pictures of your bike. The blue is unbelievably intense.
I want to see that bike in person, so when are you going for a ride?

I'm hoping to be at the Minigunz ride on the 31st... I'll have my newest CT done by then.... The blue bike is pretty much done for now until I gather up enough parts to install the NSR wheels, but not even sure if I gonna do it at all.. You gonna be at the MG ride?

Re: CT70 GPX160 intall

Ever get the numbers for MPG? Or, how long can you go before you have to switch over to reserve?

ON my 153cc Jialing (57 top, 61.5 bottom) I can get 40 miles before switching to reserve at about 50mph)

Also, any significant vibration or other things to note on this motor for a street application?

Jared, I don't have a reserve hooked up, I blocked the "ON" spigot and just run with the reserve line... Actually if you look in this thread at the pic of the GPS you'll see the mileage aswell, I took the pic on the side of the road when I ran out of gas, I reset my trip computer before the ride and topped off my tank.. The math will tell you my MPG. I was being hard on the engine that day so I'm sure I can get better just cruisin around town..

Re: CT70 GPX160 intall

Awesome bike man. Your bike is what i'm modeling by build after. I bought a 79 with 600 miles on it this spring. I have rounded up a gpx 140 and a disc front end and it's coming apart this winter. I have a street legal cr500af supermoto and i'm asstoked to get the ct going as much as the 500. Does the 140 engine also need to run a klx exhaust? Hope you don't mind me picking your brain on some things as I go along because your blue bike caught my eye and made up my mind the directionI wanted to go with my ct. BTW I rode those roads off Mulholland hwy on my rc51 when Idid a road trip to Cali 2 yrs ago. Sweet place to ride.
