The front fender is the least of the worries... It has plenty of room.. The biggest hurdle was where the swingarm meets the back mounting hole of the engine. I had to grind away some material on the engine so that it would clear.

Thanks FMC.... For anyone interested in the color, it's "Tiger" brand Powder coat, Silver sparkle base with a candy blue top coat.

Dan,
I think your bike is very cool! Those tires are cool as hell and I think the parts you have chosen makes a nice contrast to the money no object builds.

I hope you get huge dollar per mile and mile per hour results with your motor!

I would try a chinese disc set-up for a couple hundred bucks if ********** ever gets them in stock.

Thanks for the kind words... Funny you mentioned the "money no object" builds.. You're absolutely dead on about me and my bikes. I go on long rides through the canyons to the beach on this bike and really ride this bike, I'm having a blast. When I used to post over at another CT webboard I would get a lot of negativity about the parts I put on my bike and how my approach was all wrong. A lot of folks feel like you have to spend a lot of money on parts from G-craft, Takegawa and Kitaco in order to have a fast, fun bike that handles well.. My bike suits me just fine. I get more attention at the local biker bars then all the stretched out choppers and Harleys that cost 10 times more than my little CT70. On the internet my bike is pretty average, but when people see me out riding, they can't believe that someone would put so much time and effort into an old classic...

The front end works really well!!! The disc brake is smooth and very strong, I can't really see needing anymore stopping power from the front end. Night and day from the stock setup..

I emailed Mark at *****, I told him I needed to buy an rear disc setup from him, he tells me he should have them by late Spring... Whoo hoo....

Take care, Dan

Cool... I like the input... I have an 18t on order and should be here shortly.. If the 18 still isn't enough I'll then go with a 31,32t with the 18.... I definetely need to spread the power out... What's your set up? Thanks for the input...

Dan

What are your exhaust options with that engine? As I understand it, honda pipes will not bolt up to that head.
