davo is promising video hopefully by the end of the week.

well aparently the neighbors got a little bothered by the noise all day.the riding school ride CB250s out there all day.not much noise... all the years we have run this event ( i am guessing at least 10) we never ran up the hill. we're thinking maybe thats why-no sound buffer.lots of banners up there next year!!! we used to let a band set up a stage and play heavy metal all day during the races without any complaints that i know of. maybe next year we'll just have to start earlier ....

Flugie: We'll line the fence with hay bales, that'll kill 90% of the noise. I was talking to.. err.. someone, one of the older guys from the shop and he was telling me what your guys paid for the hay bales.. I almost choked. Take a note, and let me know next year, even having to drive them down to you guys, I can get them for almost half your price, possibly less. VERY VERY VERY possibly free.

we almost choked too!!our warehouse guys went to the local co-op and picked them up.when he told us how much we about fell over.and that was straw-not hay.by the way,thanks. alot. older guy was me

.... but i agree hay at thetop would help noise a bunch.i thought it would be a good spot for a bail or three fearing someone doing a heel clicker over the fence for the crowd.as it turned out i think only one guy pile drove himself into the fence. didnt make the climb first try and was determined to make it second attempt.boy did he make it.....

we'll talk next year about hay.i'll post early for a reminder,we can p/u and even send it back after we're done w/it.
