Re: CHP '08 Texas Mini Nationals thanks collin, i think this will be a great event. i have had many people ask if we can handle this race. this will be a cake walk, i will handle this as i do any other race. we have ran events with over 300 riders, our average is a little over 200, (although right now mx in tx is in a slump) so 200 pitbikes will be no diffrent then 200 big bikes. i have also had the question "what if there are 30 pitbikes in one class?" we have 40 gates, so no problem there either. if we have more than 40 we will split them into A&B groups and have a qualifier. this isnt somthing that ive had to study, or planned out, its normal race promoting, whitch is what we do. I want to assure all of you that this race will be ran with the professionalism that it deserves. The CHP Mini National is somthing that we are very proud to host, and we will do our best to make sure that everyone has a good time.

Re: CHP '08 Texas Mini Nationals Spanky we know you will run a top notch event....as you do every weekend. However I'm playing devils advocate..... Because there was a huge snafu last year with the scoring...will there be electronic scoring provided this year or will there be something else. (And for the record it was not at NTMX last year) I know you run 300 riders on a Sunday for racing but there were some unhappy people last year and the scoring was one of the main issues. Not hatin here just want the general public to be aware what you bring to the table.

Re: CHP '08 Texas Mini Nationals Oh yea almost forgot...... Justin (Squidlie) correct me if im wrong............ This is not a AMA sanctioned event. And a rider can run a Pro class and still go back to amature status after this race without any problems? ...............and did you say there was a CRF150R class running this year?

Re: CHP '08 Texas Mini Nationals yes there is a 150 class, i was pushing for the old guys on small bikes...lol no electronic scoring, same as race days, we do not have the scoring conflicts that some other tracks do, but if there is a scoring conflict, we back the race up on a hard drive camera. although no one is perfect...i dont like to be wrong.
