I guess I should have been more clear in my first post. The main reason I'm looking for a smaller bike is for my girlfriend. She has never been on a motorcycle and she wants to learn how to ride. I thought this would be a practical way to get her on one.
I'm not looking to race the bike or stunt it (I have a gixxer 600 for that). As far as looking like a retard, this bike will be ridden on my private property, so when I'm riding my g/f and & God will be the only one laughing.
I'm not looking at getting into a new hobby either. I just want to know if this is a decent deal on a used bike. I can afford what ever I want, I choose not to put a lot of money into any that will probably go down within the first two hours of ownership.
